The Indonesian Journal of Education and Community Engagement is currently recruiting new editorial review board to carry out double blind review for the Journal. Join an Editorial Review Board (ERB), a community of dedicated reviewers upholding high-quality peer review ijece’s Open Access journal.
We invite eligible and interested academia to apply to a journal of your choice through our online application form. Your application will be assessed by the corresponding journal team and successful candidates will be contacted.
Our Editorial Review Boards are designed to recognize committed reviewers and offer a clear entry point for writers interested in expanding their editorial experience. At the same time, they support our author experience by facilitating efficient, robust and fair peer review, and allowing the journal teams to distribute review workloads equitably across a trusted community.
The peer-review process is essential to the development of knowladge base across all subject areas, ensuring the integrity of the scientific record, and an important step towards gaining the experience required to join an Editorial Board is to become a strong peer reviewer.
As a reviewer, you help authors improve their papers and further develop their knowledge, and you also benefit from being able to read cutting-edge articles prior to publication and before anyone else in the field. Most importantly, as a reviewer, you get the satisfaction of knowing you are contributing directly to the development of your chosen field.
We welcome applications from researchers who meet the following criteria:
Hold an advanced degree from a recognized body in a field relevant to the journal’s scope (e.g., MEd, PhD, MSc, MPhil, MA, EdD, DPhil)
Have an h-index of 2 or higher
Co-author on 2 or more publications indexed in Sinta or Web of Science or Scopus (including accepted conference papers, under-review manuscripts, or published work)
First, last or corresponding authors on two or more published manuscripts
Have completed a minimum of one peer reviews for a scientific journal
Expectations for Editorial Review Board Members
ERB Members play a key role in a journal’s editorial ecosystem. In this role, you will:
Contribute quality reviews* to two or more unique manuscripts each year
Keep your expertise keywords up to date on the journal to support us sending you relevant manuscripts
Contribute to the journal’s development by sharing insights into emerging areas of education, or key community events

Your performance will be monitored by the journal team, and considered for progression in lecture performance load (BKD) each semester
